Create your very own Pounamu pendant using 100% genuine West Coast Pounamu, sourced locally from the rivers and coastline of the West Coast. In this hands-on carving experience, you’ll select a raw piece of Pounamu and learn how to shape, smooth, and polish it into a beautiful wearable pendant. With guidance from our instructors, you’ll use professional carving tools and polishing equipment to bring out the natural colour and shine of your stone.
This immersive workshop lasts up to 2 hours, and you’ll walk out wearing the piece you created with your own hands. All Pounamu, tools, polishing equipment, and cord are included.
For children 12-16 , 2 adults are free of charge.
